Superdrug Haul.

Thought I would do a quick review of some of the products I purchased last weekend in Superdrugs at the Bedford A1 retail park, which by the way is new and holds so many different brands!

Radox Bath Salts Detoxed Acai Berry Scent

So I’ve already raved on about this to a friend. This stuff is amazing!! The first thing I noticed when adding this to the bath was the smell. It’s gorgeous, smells like sweet berries and left my bathroom smelling amazing. The scent lingered for a while after as well. I only used about 2-3 handfuls of this. I found it dissolved really well and didn’t leave a gritty feeling at the bottom of the bath.

Later, when I got out the bath, I did the normal routine and applied my lotion. My skin felt softer than normal, so I would definitely recommend bath salts if you experience dry skin it makes such a difference. I forgot how hydrating this is to the skin.

I would definitely buy these again, really moisturising and the fragrance is lush.

I was lucky enough to grab these at half price for £2.50 usually retail at £5.

Superdrugs £1 False Lashes

I picked these up as they were only a £1 and I was curious to see if it would be another steal! I went for the most natural looking lashes as I haven’t got the biggest eyes and dramatic lashes look ridiculous on me.

After applying I found no difference at all. It didn’t appear as if I’d even applied false lashes. Some people might like this look but I see no point if it makes no difference at all. These were also a little difficult to apply and didn’t last long before they started feeling loose.

So, in all I would give this a miss, even if cheap. I’d much rather spend the extra £s on my Eyelure eyelashes!

Palmers Coconut Oil leave-in conditioner

My sister uses this product and recommended it to me. It’s really lovely. When I sprayed this onto damp hair, I could feel straight away how conditioning this was. I’ve used a bunch of products that smell great but after blow drying the smell fades. This still really holds the coconut scent and smells divine! I’ve always preferred leave in conditioners, so much easier to use and better if in a rush!

After playing my fingers through my hair a couple of times I noticed how silky it felt. It seriously does condition the hair. There honestly are dozens of hair products out there I like to use but this is the best leave-in conditioner I’ve come across so far. I will definitely be my go to for now.

Retail price £4.99

Impulse Body Mist Burnt Marshmallow + Leather Jacket

I’m forever picking up a new body spray when I can. I haven’t tried the Impulse Body Mist range, so was eager to examine these. After smelling a few, I decided on the Burnt Marshmellow and Leather Jacket. Also love a leather jacket so naturally I was attracted to this particular one. It’s unique and I don’t think it’s for everyone but I really like it. It smells exactly like it’s described is all I can say. Sweet marshmallows, with that leather jacket kind of smell (could I give a more obvious description) Its musky but sweet and that’s the best I can manage. It’s the right amount of sweet for me personally, not too sickly! They have other scents but this was the one I preferred out of White Lace+Muddy Grass, Whipped Cream+Microchip and Tropical Beach+Espresso. As you can see very eccentric scents they have! The first two I can honestly say were not my cup of tea but Tropical Beach+Espresso was really nice. They also have other scents but I only came across these.

I got the 150 ml bottle for £3! It’s a decent-sized bottle and yet compact enough to fit in a small handbag. The packaging is really pretty too and looks nice on the dressing table.

If you’re looking for a unique scent, this is it. It’s not the most lasting scent but most body sprays aren’t. In any case, it’s definitely worth adding to the collection!

I own 12 bottles of Victoria Secret body sprays which I should really do a review on! Anyway, for the price again, this is a nice affordable body spray just not sure it’s for everyone!

Gillette Satin Care with Olay Shaving Gel Vanilla

I’m so happy I purchased it! It’s a little more pricey than the others out of the range £3.99, but worth it. I know the scent isn’t everything when it comes to shaving cream but I’m easily tempted by products just for the smell and this one is so nice, Its a sweet vanilla fragrance. It too did what it’s supposed to do and left my legs feeling super smooth for the whole day, even the next morning. I know shaving cream is supposed to do this but honestly, this is another level of smooth you will feel.

I usually use the one with Aloe Vera but I find this is better (also extra bonus with the scent ) Great for ladies who have sensitive skin when shaving too.

Favourite buys.

It has to be Radox Acai Berry bath salts. Very close was the Palmers Coconut leave-in conditioner spray. Both are definitely worth giving a go at some point!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my rambling on these products and maybe I’ve recommended something of use to you! I will definitely be doing a post on my Top 3 Victoria Secret Body Sprays next.
