I wanted to write a short review on my personal favourites when it comes to these sprays. I don’t know about you, but I get a little overly excited about body sprays, particularly with this brand!
In fact, I get so excited, I get a little distracted when trying to pick one. I stand there with the top removed ready to sniff, but I’m already eyeing up the following one to smell. Normally end up having to go back a couple of times. As for the Victoria Secret shop, I’m a complete lost cause in there! Don’t even know where to begin.
My Top 3.
1. Shot of Coconut
This is my favourite by far. I purchased this last summer in the MK branch when having a little shop with my sister. Firstly, I was drawn in by the packaging, looks fresh and just screamed summer to me. This fragrance reminds me of summer days and beach holidays. When spraying some of this, you’ll catch a blast of coconut freshness straight away! There’s a really fruity hint to this too, which together seriously has me fantasizing about pina coladas on the beach. We all have that certain smell that reminds us of holiday and this is mine along with Estee Lauders Bronzed Goddess which I actually need to repurchase this year!
If you’re like me and you love a fresh fruity smell and love being reminded of summer, then try this. It really does make me want to jump in a pool!
2. Velvet Petals.
I bought this the same day I purchased Shot Of Coconut, both I think were new at the time. I love the look of this one, it has more of an elegant feel compared to the others. Along with the name, this is definitely more of a sophisticated scent.
I thought with the name being ‘Velvet Petals’ this would be a floral scent, but it’s not it’s quite sweet. I don’t particularly like the overly sweet smells, but mixed with the floral undertone its balanced out nicely. It’s an elegant smell with its sweet floral mix, has a very enchanting aroma to it! This is one that suits any time of the year and I would definitely layer it under your fave perfume for a night out.
3.Coconut Passion
This would have to be in my top 3. It’s one of the originals and for some while was my go to. Before Shot of Coconut and Velvet Petals come along I was always trying to find one I liked better than Coconut Passion.
This has a coconut scent with hints of vanilla and pineaple. Also one of my fave summer scents. I like to spray this as soon as I’m out the shower to make me feel that bit fresher! Even though this wasn’t my first choice I found this scent lasts that bit longer than the others, so definitely deserves to be in my top 3.
You can’t go wrong with this one and wasn’t surprised to learn that this a popular one with everyone.
